As a pilot project between the Board and the Bargaining Unit, a Daily Occasional Teacher who works 55 assignments or more by February 1st with the Board shall be invited to attend a PA Day in the Spring of that year and be paid by the Board up to one (1) full day's pay at the Daily Occasional Teacher rate for participating in said PA Day. Pay will only be available for Daily Occasional Teachers, and does not include time worked in a Long Term Assignment or an assignment that evolved into a Long Term Assignment. The topic of professional learning shall be discussed between the Board designate and the Local President or designate and will be aligned with the Strategic Plan and/or Director's Work Plan. Additional costs will be paid by ETFO-OT Bargaining Unit.
